MobilALLY LLC warrants that your ALLY hardware product ('Product') will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of delivery to the original retail purchaser ('Warranty Period').
1. What is Covered
This warranty covers hardware defects that prevent the device from functioning as described in the documentation under normal use.
If a defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, MobilALLY will, at its option:
1. Repair the Product at no charge using new or refurbished replacement parts.
2. Exchange the Product with a Product that is new or manufactured from new or serviceable used parts and is at least functionally equivalent to the original Product.
2. Kickstarter & Early Adopters
For Kickstarter backers, the Warranty Period begins on the date the tracking number shows 'Delivered'.
DOA (Dead on Arrival) Policy: If your unit arrives non-functional, you must report it within 14 days of receipt for an expedited replacement.
3. Exclusions (What is Not Covered)
This warranty does not apply to:
- Cosmetic damage, including scratches, dents, and broken plastic on ports.
- Damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, liquid contact (exceeding IP ratings), fire, earthquake, or other external cause.
- Damage caused by operating the Product outside the user manual's technical specifications.
- Products that have been modified to alter functionality or capability without the written permission of MobilALLY.
- Defects caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal aging of the Product.
- Any device where the serial number or tamper-evident seals have been removed or defaced.
4. Tamper Protection Warning
The ALLY Mesh module contains active tamper-detection circuits protecting the secure element. Attempting to open the chassis, probe the PCB, or de-cap chips will trigger a 'Suicide Mode' that wipes all cryptographic keys.
Units triggered by physical tampering are NOT covered under warranty and cannot be reset.
5. Limitation of Liability
MobilALLY is not responsible for direct, special, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from any breach of warranty or condition, including but not limited to loss of use; loss of revenue; loss of actual or anticipated profits; or loss of data.
How to Obtain Warranty Service
Please access your account to initiate an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) request. Do not send products back without an RMA number.
